My Dear Parish Family,

Happy Feast Day! It is with great joy that our parish family comes together each year to celebrate the feast day of our Patron, Saint Anne. Many thanks to everyone who has worked so hard behind the scenes to make our celebration so special! For the first time, our feast day celebration is bringing together our band, our choir, and our coro for what is sure to be a great celebration of the rich diversity of our parish family. And we once again join together after Mass in Father Sweeney Hall for our Feast Day Dinner. Many thanks to everyone who is cooking and bringing in a special dish to share at our dinner. I hope that you willbe able to join us to celebrate the gift of love that is our parish family. May Saint Anne continue to watch over us and guide us on our pilgrim way to the Kingdom of Our Lord!

Vacation Bible School is just around the corner. Children from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade are invited to participate in this year’s program: Hero Headquarters. Please pick up your registration form in the back of the church and return your completed form to the Religious Education Office. Please see page five for more information. Many thanks to Monica and her team of dedicated volunteers for working so hard to put this wonderful program together for the young people of our parish!

As our summer continues, I am looking forward to taking some extra time away from my regular routine here at the parish for my annual “staycation”. Even though I do not travel anywhere, I try to spend some extra time in prayer, reading, and relaxing here at the parish. This summer, I will also be using my staycation to work on continuing the development of our new parish website. While the basic framework of the site is already in place, there is much more work to be done. I am looking forward to the quiet of the summer to spend some time working on the more creative aspects of the site, and populating it with pictures, news, and other information about the many ministries and organizations . Please see page six for more information about our website and how you can help me develop it over the coming weeks. Visit our new site at:  www.saintanneparish.org

Even as we roll out our new parish website, we continue to ask all of the members of our parish family to download and use the “OneParish” app. It is a free download available both on Google Play and iTunes. Please be sure to install this free app on your phone or tablet. The app automatically detects the default language of your device and will present itself in English or in Spanish. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with this wonderful app and its many faith building features, and use it as a way to stay connected to our parish family even when you can’t be here with us for Mass.

Yours In God’s Love,

Father Ralph
